Thank you! I am involved with a man with NPD. It has been a nightmare, my self-esteem is destroyed and I have been seeing a therapist. My therapist has met with my partner and suggested to me that he was a Narcissist and the relationship problems were not my fault. (Others tell me that my partner is such a "Catch" and I am such a lucky woman!...but I do not feel lucky..The problem must be mine?!) Your website has wonderful information and I see myself/us in the words. It is proving to be extremely difficult to extricate myself, but I know that I must....this reading has offered me insight into my behaviors and with the support and guidance of my therapist strengthens my resolve to leave this emotionally damaging situation.
